Improving well-being of children in Armenia is one of the strategic objectives of Child Development Foundation officially registered in September 2009. The founder is World Vision International. The Foundation is the assignee of Malatia Child Development Centre (Yerevan, Republic of Armenia) created in 2002 under World Vision different projects with external funding. The main goals of the Child Development Foundation are to: • promote formation of the harmonized child protection system in Armenia, • increase participation of children and the disabled in decision-making processes, • promote the development of children and families through provision of alternative services, • promote socialization of children living in difficult circumstances and children in need of special educational conditions, • promote cooperation and development of social partnership between state and non-state actors operating in the field of child protection.
